OMFG I met Jake Owen during the tailgate, we were across the road from the artist buses and he stepped out to the gate to meet us! He signed my CD that I bought with the last of that paycheck \u201cJennifer, drew a heart and wrote Jake\u201d omg!<\/p>\n
I also met Dierks, we talked about Dixie & Jake and he said he wished he woulda brought his dog Jake with him but the hotels refused the poor thing cuz he\u2019s a pet and Dierks was trying to tell them \u201cHe isn\u2019t a pet, he\u2019s a person\u201d and I added in \u201cfur person!\u201d lol! I gave him pics of my stepmom\u2019s 3 yr old lab mix who looks almost exactly like Jake and he saw it too. I didn\u2019t meet Kenny but I got Dierks\u2019 autograph on both CD jackets and my pic with him as well as Jake!!! I am working on my pics, trust me they are worth the wait but I will try to upload them all before I drift off to sleep and it\u2019s 2:30 and I won\u2019t be sleeping for a while ha! Once we found out how to get down to Lot A the tailgating was awesome, I had a blast hanging out with everyone & meeting the people I communicate with daily on the boards. Nommia was great, it was her 1st concert and we hung out, I let her look at my pictures. Bridgette bought me one of the Cheslanta cups!<\/p>\n
Now for the BEST FREAKIN\u2019 PART EVER, Kenny did NOT do Lay you down, however he did say \u201cThis is the 1st time we\u2019ve ever done this song\u201d and they went into You save me OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! They didn\u2019t show the video and I didn\u2019t see any sign of Vane other than the WTSGD video & Kracker showed up. I was in section 1 row Q but I still took some amazing pictures!<\/p>\n
After the show I went back to the car to drop everything but the camera & watch the buses. I talked with one of the truck drivers for Kenny, he asked my name & where I\u2019m from and we talked for a few minutes. We were near the crew buses. Saw the band during the tailgate sitting under the awning of a bus, I got pics & video! I saw Nick just walking under the road or whatever when we were leaving so I waved at him and he waved back!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
