I saw Tony so I started talking to him and a lady who remembered me from the Fan Club Party (sorry but I was introduced to EVERYONE at the same time!) came and asked me how I was doing. I ended up buying one of the last photo frames, license plate, & a photo to have autographed to send it to a fan who couldn\u2019t be there. On the way back to my seat I talked to Hal (the lighting guy) and he was very nice. We sat right up front, in front of the left speakers!!! A nice lady named Lisa Smith came and sat next to us, and we were talking about the past shows we\u2019ve seen. At 7:30 they announced the meet & greet and there weren\u2019t too many fan club members but the people that helped get the stage ready were back there too, and I guess they needed one or 2 more so they told Lisa she could go back if she wanted!<\/p>\n
We were waiting on them to come out of the bus and Lisa snuck up behind us, we got to all 6 but Brian snuck up on us while we were waiting on another guy! He even noticed that I colored my hair blonde and told me he likes it this way! I gave Dana the story on him calling me, he put it in his jacket pocket & I told him \u201cNow don\u2019t wash that jacket without taking that note out!\u201d and he said \u201cI probably will, just my luck!\u201d and I cracked up on that one!<\/p>\n
Then we went back to our seats since they were kicking us all out! I had to quickly change the batteries in my camera! Before the guys came on they had their color guards march onstage & played the Star Spangled Banner, and we all pledged allegiance to the flag, something I haven\u2019t done since school! Then the guys came out and started the show with Meet in the Middle, then Marty said \u201cHow y\u2019all doin\u2019 tonight?\u201d Then they went into Love a Little Stronger, & then their medley including Oh me Oh my sweet baby, Holdin\u2019, In a week or 2, Nowhere Bound, Mirror mirror, Mama, Romeo, & Bubba Hyde.Then Marty said \u201cWhoo, hello Georgia! Y\u2019all ready to have a good time tonight?\u201d & said \u201cYou know, Georgia is still warmer!\u201d & we all laughed & cheered. Then he talked about the One More Day album and then they played Kentucky Mine, You\u2019re Gone, Imagine That, It\u2019s all in Your Head (with Dana doing extra things on the mike that I don\u2019t remember from the last time!) Then Marty said \u201cLemme hear ya say \u2018Yeah\u2019!\u201d So we all screamed \u201cYeah\u201d at the top of our lungs! Then he said \u201cAre y\u2019all having fun yet? One More Day was the quickest album to go gold.\u201d And then he talked about Sweet Summer getting out of school for summer vacation looking forward to it all year long! Then he talked about they wanted to put their kids on there and Sarah (who was 4 at the time) wanted to hear herself in the studio and when they hit record she started singing that song & he didn\u2019t know that she knew it!<\/p>\n
Then they played Sweet Summer, That\u2019s Just That, then Marty talked about all the stories they\u2019ve heard for One More Day on their site and in person at the shows and they dedicated it to 9\/11\/01. Then they played One More Day. Then Dana grabbed the mike and started singing the chorus one more time and had us singing most of it! Then he cracked everyone up with \u201cUnderneath that old GA pine!\u201d and then said \u201cIf you\u2019re here & not having fun, BUMMER!\u201d and \u201cDon\u2019t ride that cowboy ride cuz that thing will make you si-ick!\u201d and went on to talk about the past 10 years being wonderful for them. He asked \u201cAre y\u2019all ready to travel with us?\u201d and the audience cheered very loudly & he said \u201cLet\u2019s go get on the bus & take a trip through 3 kinds of Ricky music, you\u2019re gonna hear something that sounds a little like Ricky Martin (girls cheered)\u201d he shook his head & said \u201cNo leather pants\u201d which got everyone laughing. \u201cAnd then you\u2019re hear something that sounds like Ricky Ricardo music,\u201d cheers & \u201cYou don\u2019t even know what that is, do you?\u201d and we laughed. Then, \u201cyou\u2019re gonna hear something that sounds like Ricky Skaggs\u201d & asked if we were ready & said \u201cLet\u2019s go!\u201d Then they got into their instrumental & Dana played his whistle after shaking hands with the police guy by the speakers! Then Marty asked \u201cHow \u2019bout it for\u2026\u201d went through the guys and then just pointed to himself & we all cheered! Then they got into Norma Jean Riley and Marty walked right in front of where I was sitting & started dancing, HOLD ME BACK lol! I pretended to pass out on Mom who was next to me! He saw me & smiled & waved at me & winked at me since I was singing along word for word! Then they started playing Unbelievable & he asked \u201cAre there any ladies in the house\u201d and you could hardly hear them scream!
