I already have tickets for mom and I to see Kenny in Minneapolis May 2, 2020! I see Kenny will also be in Atlanta, GA 2 weeks later. I looked and some tickets are no more than $50 each before fees in the upper level, bargain! I would fly down a week in advance to see everyone and then return north the Monday after the show so I can rest a bit and prepare to fly back. Yes, my debt load seems to grow faster than I can pay it down but I just got approved for a bank card with 0 interest until 2021 and I can transfer the balance. I’m also going to start getting some more help again and possibly PT employment somewhere if I can find a proper fit?

Update: I have received a reply and we are on like Donkey Kong! Now to wait forever for the tour announcements and even more forever through the long winter until it’s time to fly south and see a show with my cousin and then hang around to visit as many of the rest of the family as I possibly can!

I can’t really afford to leave my area for some time, but knowing there are tour dates on the way is killing me! I was trying to save up to attend CMA fest but thanks to the double moves I had to make recently (4 years ago and 2 months ago) it’s just not in the cards at this time. However I do have a cousin who lives in Kennesaw, GA so I’ve formulated an alternate plan that still lets me be a bit of a gypsy but with built in safety by attending a show near my home area with a trusted cousin who is a day older than me if she’s up for it! I’d arrange airfare to fly in the day before then stay long enough to see everyone before I return north. 

Said day older cousin is a school teacher so it has to work with her busy schedule as well but I offered her the option of Taylor Swift or Kenny Chesney if they’ll be playing Atlanta next year since I’d be willing to see either of them again. In the next couple months it will be 2 years since I was last down home to visit. I just sent her the idea I typed up in Google Docs and took a screenshot, fingers crossed! I would buy our tickets (upper level) if she’s up for it!
