Diamond Rio in Macon, GA

I had to sit thru a couple of new artists nobody has ever really heard of before, then it was time for the real show! Trace came on and got off the stage about 9. Then the meet n greet for Rio was announced so we went to the announced area. The truck was parked inside and they was joking that they was gonna lock all of us up in it! All the guys looked GREAT!

The clothing report:
Marty-black T shirt, blue jeans, tan leather jacket & black boots
Dana-yellow T-shirt, blue jeans, black jacket & blue boots
Gene-white T-shirt, blue jeans, brown jacket & black boots
Dan-white with blue plaid shirt, blue jeans & dark gray boots
Jimmy-white shirt, blue jeans and brown boots
Brian-see pic for shirt, it had a funky design! black jeans & black boots I think lol.

Then we got back to our seats and the show started just a few minutes later. I did give out all your e-mail messages you sent in! The songs stayed the same as last year but those of you still wanting the list here it goes!

Meet in the Middle, then Marty said “Hello Macon!” and they dove into the medley of Oh me oh my sweet baby, Holdin’, In a week or 2, Nowhere Bound, Mirror Mirror, Mama, Romeo and then they did Bubba Hyde. Then Marty asked “How y’all doing?” and the usual stuff you hear him say at the show and talked about the pink coats that the guys on the festival committee were wearing, and said that he hoped that was the only time they were wearing those! lol! Then they started playing Kentucky Mine and right after that they got into You’re Gone. Then they sung Imagine That, It’s all in your head. And then Marty was talking about the queens with the pretty crowns and said that they know how to wave and one of them was so tall. Then he started talking about their One More Day CD. Then they did Sweet Summer, That’s Just That (Marty actually forgot some of the words on the 2nd verse lol! He didn’t “eh, ah, eh” though [from the OMD premiere radio show] lol) and One More Day dedicating it to those lost on Sept. 11.

Dana then had us sing the chorus once again, then he talked about all of us meeting in the middle and that we were in GA. He said if we were there and not having a good time bummer lol! He talked about the “pretty hats” on the queens and he was sick of seeing snow and that he needs warm weather. Then they got into their instrumental (same as last year’s). Then Marty said “How about it for…?” went thru the other guys and then stepped up and pointed to himself. He also talked about them having 8 ACM nomiations and Alan just 6 lol! Then they did Norma Jean Riley and Unbelievable and came back out with How your love makes me feel.
