It was June 2001. I was fresh out of high school at the end of May, working my first job (sales associate at K-mart). A “normal” grad would’ve had a fairly boring party with family & friends. Instead of that I had a much more special, fun day with my favorite band and the other fans who attended! I probably should’ve worn my cap & gown for the group photo, too late now! I was wearing the first dress I bought myself with my own paycheck and employee discount though.

The terrorist attacks were still a couple months away.

I attended these parties from 1997 – 2001 during Fan Fair week in Nashville, TN. They were always somewhere neat like the Opry, Opryland Hotel and the General Jackson showboat.
