I saw Tony so I started talking to him and a lady who remembered me from the Fan Club Party (sorry but I was introduced to EVERYONE at the same time!) came and asked me how I was doing. I ended up buying one of the last photo frames, license plate, & a photo to have autographed to send it to a fan who couldn’t be there. On the way back to my seat I talked to Hal (the lighting guy) and he was very nice. We sat right up front, in front of the left speakers!!! A nice lady named Lisa Smith came and sat next to us, and we were talking about the past shows we’ve seen. At 7:30 they announced the meet & greet and there weren’t too many fan club members but the people that helped get the stage ready were back there too, and I guess they needed one or 2 more so they told Lisa she could go back if she wanted!

We were waiting on them to come out of the bus and Lisa snuck up behind us, we got to all 6 but Brian snuck up on us while we were waiting on another guy! He even noticed that I colored my hair blonde and told me he likes it this way! I gave Dana the story on him calling me, he put it in his jacket pocket & I told him “Now don’t wash that jacket without taking that note out!” and he said “I probably will, just my luck!” and I cracked up on that one!

Then we went back to our seats since they were kicking us all out! I had to quickly change the batteries in my camera! Before the guys came on they had their color guards march onstage & played the Star Spangled Banner, and we all pledged allegiance to the flag, something I haven’t done since school! Then the guys came out and started the show with Meet in the Middle, then Marty said “How y’all doin’ tonight?” Then they went into Love a Little Stronger, & then their medley including Oh me Oh my sweet baby, Holdin’, In a week or 2, Nowhere Bound, Mirror mirror, Mama, Romeo, & Bubba Hyde.Then Marty said “Whoo, hello Georgia! Y’all ready to have a good time tonight?” & said “You know, Georgia is still warmer!” & we all laughed & cheered. Then he talked about the One More Day album and then they played Kentucky Mine, You’re Gone, Imagine That, It’s all in Your Head (with Dana doing extra things on the mike that I don’t remember from the last time!) Then Marty said “Lemme hear ya say ‘Yeah’!” So we all screamed “Yeah” at the top of our lungs! Then he said “Are y’all having fun yet? One More Day was the quickest album to go gold.” And then he talked about Sweet Summer getting out of school for summer vacation looking forward to it all year long! Then he talked about they wanted to put their kids on there and Sarah (who was 4 at the time) wanted to hear herself in the studio and when they hit record she started singing that song & he didn’t know that she knew it!

Then they played Sweet Summer, That’s Just That, then Marty talked about all the stories they’ve heard for One More Day on their site and in person at the shows and they dedicated it to 9/11/01. Then they played One More Day. Then Dana grabbed the mike and started singing the chorus one more time and had us singing most of it! Then he cracked everyone up with “Underneath that old GA pine!” and then said “If you’re here & not having fun, BUMMER!” and “Don’t ride that cowboy ride cuz that thing will make you si-ick!” and went on to talk about the past 10 years being wonderful for them. He asked “Are y’all ready to travel with us?” and the audience cheered very loudly & he said “Let’s go get on the bus & take a trip through 3 kinds of Ricky music, you’re gonna hear something that sounds a little like Ricky Martin (girls cheered)” he shook his head & said “No leather pants” which got everyone laughing. “And then you’re hear something that sounds like Ricky Ricardo music,” cheers & “You don’t even know what that is, do you?” and we laughed. Then, “you’re gonna hear something that sounds like Ricky Skaggs” & asked if we were ready & said “Let’s go!” Then they got into their instrumental & Dana played his whistle after shaking hands with the police guy by the speakers! Then Marty asked “How ’bout it for…” went through the guys and then just pointed to himself & we all cheered! Then they got into Norma Jean Riley and Marty walked right in front of where I was sitting & started dancing, HOLD ME BACK lol! I pretended to pass out on Mom who was next to me! He saw me & smiled & waved at me & winked at me since I was singing along word for word! Then they started playing Unbelievable & he asked “Are there any ladies in the house” and you could hardly hear them scream! Then they went off & came back with How Your Love Makes me feel.
