In just over 2 months mom and I are hitting the road for our No Shoes Nation on the Prairie tour, wooo hooo! Along with taking in the Kenny Chesney show in Sioux Falls, SD (a 3 hour drive 1 way) we’re making a weekend of it and following in the foot steps of the real Laura Ingalls Wilder! I figure on spending some time in De Smet, SD on the way to the show and coming back through Walnut Grove!

Thank goodness for modern transportation so we won’t need a horse and buggy! Will have to visit the museums of course, would like to see the place at Plum Creek too! I will take tons of photos but since I will be moving only 2 weeks after the show (locally) I might just draft it up on here and leave it until I’ve moved in and my internet provider gets me all set up.
