DIY Easter egg wreath tutorial

Supplies from Dollar Tree unless *noted* otherwise. I used the folded ruffle method shown here – thank you Michelle Smith Creations for the inspo! Due to the harsh winter weather that won’t end I’ll be making my own egg after I prepare for the new blizzard and taking an extended break until right after Memorial Day.

Supplies needed

  • Egg frame
  • Deco mesh (3 rolls needed)
  • Ribbon
  • Pipe cleaners/chenille stems
  • Bowdabra* and/or mini bowdabra* & wire*
  • Fake plastic eggs (I went for fancy decorative ones)
  • Twine
  • Glue gun*
  • Glue sticks

Instructions

  1. Cut pipe cleaner in half place in mini bowdabra
  2. Measure deco mesh to 12 inches and cut
  3. Fold deco mesh and scrunch, secure with pipe cleaner
  4. Place on frame
  5. Repeat above steps until frame covered
  6. Create simple twine hanger and attach at top of frame
  7. Make ribbon bow, attach to bottom center of wreath
  8. Using glue gun & sticks attach fake eggs to wreath, press onto pipe cleaners/stems
