DIY Easter cross wreath tutorial

Here’s how to make the cross wreath for Easter. Almost everything can be found at the Dollar Tree unless otherwise noted. If you switch out the base color, ribbon & floral you can make this wreath for other seasons & holidays too!

Supplies needed

  • Cross wreath form
  • Mesh tubing 4-5 bags or 2-3 rolls of deco mesh
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Tulle
  • Burlap Easter ribbon
  • Bowdabra bow wire (Wal-Mart etc)
  • Fake flowers
  • Twine/jute (to hang)
  • Bowdabra (can also work with mini)

Instructions

  1. Measure & cut tubing/deco mesh (I use 18 inch cuts for tubing, about 6 inches deco mesh)
  2. Place pipe cleaner & cut tubing/mesh into bowdabra (or mini), shape as desired. Repeat 1st 2 steps until entire frame is covered.
  3. Measure twine/jute across back of cross frame and tie simple hanger
  4. Place bow wire and burlap ribbon into bowdabra and make the bow as desired, I cut 36 inches or 2 ruler lengths
  5. Place pipe cleaners just above and under the bow and add the fake flowers
  6. Roll out tulle to desired length x2 and cut. Simply apply to the cross and the tubing or mesh will hold it in place.
