Ok so the cameras I own are more oriented for stills with only short video clip recordings possible, which means I’m quite limited and struggle with recording tutorials. That said, I’m looking into a top name brand compact or body with lens camera oriented for video from Canon or Sony since Nikon has largely fallen behind in this area. What I need function wise is called product demo mode so if I hold an item up close the focus will show it in detail. Hopefully I can take care of some other things (lighting etc) out of my own pocket but I’m strongly leaning to requesting a vlogging camera from this year’s microgrant. I’ll use the tripod I already have. I’ve shortlisted a few options I’d be satisfied with to an Amazon list from Canon & Sony so I’ll mention those specific brands when I submit my request and provide my list link.

On a side note I’m excited to see Wynonna Judd with Melissa Etheridge in Waite Park this summer! Also will be attending the big Sawyer Brown concert down the street at my local fair VIP style, taking my own chair haha! Daisy is growing like a weed and will soon be spayed. I will do quick little projects while she heals (resting and given plenty of TLC).
